At-home Test Kits:
7/19/2021 - IDPH recently announced they will be providing at-home COVID test kits. As of 7/20/2021 Jasper County Public Health will have a limited number of at-home COVID test kits available to the public. They require saliva and the person must mail it back. Test kits may also be ordered online and mailed directly to you (limit 10).

Vaccine for ages 12+ students:
Newton Clinic now has Pfizer vaccine available.
Grinnell and Newton Hy-Vee have Pfizer vaccine available for age 12 and older. Sign up now online and note that appointments will go quickly.
Please encourage everyone age 12 and older to get the COVID vaccine. Two weeks after they are fully vaccinated, they will not be required to isolate or quarantine if they are exposed to COVID unless they are symptomatic. What does this mean? Students won’t miss school or any events if they are exposed. Also, we will see less cases of COVID and less restrictions for next school year
